Drone Rentals

Each Drone Rental will ship directly to you (with a return label included) and/ or local pickup in San Antonio, TX is available. All drone rentals require a (2) day minimum rental. Any missing, broken, or excessive wear on any components and hardware will result in a fee upon return of the rental. All rentals must be returned within the specified rental return window. If not returned by specified return day/time renters will be charged a late fee of $75 Per day in addition to the daily rental pr

What do you need before renting a drone over 250g?

All must be completed before date of pickup of your rental as we use this information for each rental.

Pass a "TRUST" UAV Safety Test from any listed approved faa website.

 The Recreational UAS Safety Test (TRUST) | Federal Aviation Administration 

Already have a Part 107 License?

Just bring a copy of your Part 107 License and valid driver's license (Information must be the same on both of these).

Register with the FAA Drone zone as a Recreational or Part 107 Flyer.

*Everyone must register with the FAA Drone Zone website as this is how we temporarily register each drone with every rental.

DRONE RENTAL iNSURANCE coverage Required

Drone Insurance is $25-$60 Per Day Per Rental (Depends On Model)

 SkyWatch Drone Insurance (Required for All Rentals)
All drone rentals require active coverage through SkyWatch.AI to ensure safe and responsible operation. This on-demand insurance provides liability protection during your rental period, helping cover potential damage or incidents while flying. Coverage is quick and easy to activate, giving you peace of mind so you can focus on flying with confidence. Drone insurance will be set up at the time of rental.


Make Sure To Bring The Following For Local Pickup:

Failure to bring all necessary documents will result in a cancellation for the rental.

  1. "Trust" safety test certificate (Completed from the link above) OR current Part 107 License.
  2. Login information for FAA Drone Zone (To temporarily register the rental Drone to your account).
  3. Proof of Downloaded LAANC App (To ensure renter knows any airspace restrictions).
  4. Valid ID/Driver's license.
  5. Credit/Debit card for Security Deposit.

Security Deposits for each drone rental will be in the amount of the following:

-DJI Neo 2- $100.00

-DJI Mini 5 Pro-$300

-DJI Mavic 3 Pro- $450.00

-DJI Mavic 4 Pro -$650.00

*Each deposit will be fully refunded after the drone rental has been returned in its full operating/cosmetic condition as it was rented out. Must be 18+ years old for all drone rentals.

Payment Information

All drone rentals require a two-day minimum. We collect payment at reservation pickup time and must have a Credit/Debit card present for a temporary security deposit (See security deposit pricing below) due to the high values of these drones and equipment and will be refunded upon drop off date completion. For local pick up, please arrive 20 minutes early so we can process your required information (SEE REQUIRED STEPS ABOVE).
